How to Register

Registration is closed.

Here are the three steps to register.

​

STEP 1: REGISTRATION/FEE PAYMENT  • DEADLINE:  APRIL 12

​Complete this online registration form. Please read the instructions carefully on the registration page.

​

STEP 2:  COMPLETE AND SUBMIT TEAM ROSTER • DEADLINE APRIL 19

​

Complete the 2024 Illinois Senior Games Basketball Team Roster Form  (print out and write in information) and either (1) mail the form to Springfield by April 19. 

All the information is provided on the roster or (2) email a scanned copy to Justin Yuroff (development@ssoci.org). The information on the roster is essential to qualify players for the 2025 National Senior Games.  You can add a player to your roster onsite.

STEP 3:  COMPLETE AND SUBMIT RELEASE FORMS • DEADLINE APRIL 19

Each player needs to complete an Illinois Senior Games Release Form.  You can submit your release forms with your team foster, or you can bring the forms with you to registration.   We will have extra forms on site if needed.  No player can participate in the tournament with a completed Release Form.

Local Waiver Forms Also Required

The City of Evanston requires a waiver form to play in one of their facilities.  Each player can complete this form on site. No player can participate in the tournament with a completed Waiver Form.

3-on-3 Rules

​

Each 3-on-3 game is played with six players (3 per team) on the court in a half-court setup.  Just as in traditional basketball, each basket is worth two or three points, with foul shots earning one point.  A game consists of two 15-minute halves.  We  w
